PRIVACY CHARTER
Last updated: January 12, 2026
This privacy charter (the "Charter") sets out our commitment to respecting the privacy of users of the BI Template website (the "Site"), operated by AGEG France SAS.
The Charter and the Site's Terms and Conditions form a single contractual whole. All capitalized terms not defined in this Charter are defined in the Terms and Conditions of Sale.
In providing our Site, we process your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 ("GDPR") and under the conditions set out below.
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. We collect and process personal data solely to provide our Services or to communicate about these Services, in strict compliance with the GDPR.
We collect only personal data that is adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. You will therefore never be asked to provide personal data considered "sensitive," such as your racial or ethnic origin or your political, philosophical, or religious opinions.
By registering on the Site, you authorize us to process your personal data in accordance with the Charter. If you do not accept the terms of this Charter, please do not use the Site or the Services.
1. When do we collect your personal data, and what data do we collect?
We may collect and store your personal data, in particular when you:
- browse the Site,
- create an account on the Site,
- make a purchase on the Site,
- contact us.
We use your personal data to provide and manage the Site's Services and to respond to your specific requests. We also use your personal data to operate and improve our Services, our Site, and our approach. This information is used only by us and helps us better tailor our Services to your expectations.
If you chose to receive emails and messages from us when creating your Account, you will receive email and text messages about our products and promotions. We will then use the personal data you provided when registering. You can unsubscribe from these messages at any time.
1.1 Browsing the Site
Connection data. Each time you connect to our Site, we collect personal data such as, in particular, your IP address and your computer's MAC address, the date and time of connection, and information about the browser you use.
Browsing data. We also collect information that identifies how you access the Site, which pages you view, and for how long. For this purpose, we may use Cookies, as specified in paragraph 6 below.
1.2 Creating an Account
Access to some of our Services requires creating an Account first. In accordance with the Terms and Conditions, you will be asked to provide certain personal data when creating your Account, including your first and last name, postal address, email address, and phone number.
1.3 Payment
Some of the Services available are paid. For this purpose, you agree that we may use external service providers who may collect personal data to ensure the proper operation of payment processing by credit card or any other means of payment and, where applicable, the delivery of products or services.
To pay for your purchase, you must provide your billing details and your payment details, in particular your card number, expiration date, security code, and the cardholder's name when paying by card.
You may also be asked to provide the name of your mobile carrier, your mobile phone model, and a valid mobile number, so that purchase instructions can be sent directly to your mobile phone.
We keep the details of your payments and of the purchases you make. Transaction details are kept either in our systems or with the external provider. They are kept for internal purposes, in particular for accounting, compliance, and legal purposes, in accordance with paragraph 5 of this Charter.
1.4 Subscribing to our Newsletter
When creating your Account, you can give your prior consent to receive our newsletters about news, new products, services, and promotions, as part of the Services.
You can also consent directly to receiving our newsletters by entering your email address where provided on the Site.
In any event, you have the right to withdraw your consent to receiving these newsletters at any time and free of charge, under the conditions set out in paragraph 6 of the Charter.
1.5 Contacts
To follow up on requests you make to our Customer Service and to confirm information about you, we may use your last name, first name, email address, and phone number.
1.6 Free resources
When you request a free resource on the Site, we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your job title. We use this data to send you the resource you requested, then to contact you again about our Power BI reports. This follow-up is based on our legitimate interest in presenting our reports to professionals, at their business email address. Emails are sent by our provider Resend, which acts as a processor and processes this data on our behalf only. We keep this data for three years from your last contact with us [to be confirmed], then delete it. You can object at any time, free of charge, to being contacted again: reply "stop" to any of our emails, or write to emilien@datapilot.fr.
1.7 Consulting services
If you purchase Consulting services, your answers to the intake form and the files you send us by email (your Power BI report, an extract of your data) are used solely to provide those services.
2. How do we protect your personal data?
We have put in place technical and organizational security measures to ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of all your personal data, and to prevent it from being altered, damaged, or accessed by unauthorized third parties. We ensure an appropriate level of security, taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation, and the nature, scope, context, and purposes of the processing, as well as the risks and their likelihood.
However, since no security measure is infallible, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal data.
You are also responsible for keeping the password to your Account confidential. Do not share it with anyone. If you share your computer, remember to log out before leaving a Service.
3. When do we share your personal data?
3.1 Sharing your personal data with third-party companies
When you browse the Site, your personal data may be transferred to external service providers. These third parties provide a service for us and on our behalf, to ensure the proper operation of credit card payments and other Services.
Other transfers of personal data to the United States are governed by the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield (the European Union-United States data protection framework).
Except where a third party asks you to accept its own privacy policy and terms of use, the third-party companies that have received your personal data have undertaken to process it solely to provide our Services.
We will never share your personal data with third-party companies for marketing and/or commercial purposes without your prior consent.
4. How long do we keep your personal data?
We keep your personal data only for as long as you are registered on the Site, to identify you when you log in to your Account and to provide the Services.
If you unregister from the Site, your personal data will be deleted and kept only in archived form, to establish proof of a right or a contract.
In any event, we keep your personal data for no longer than necessary for the purposes for which it is processed, in accordance with the uses described in this Charter and in compliance with laws and regulations.
5. Cookies: how do we use them?
5.1 What is a cookie?
A cookie is a text file that may be placed on a device when an online service is accessed with browser software. During its period of validity, a cookie file allows its issuer, in particular, to recognize the device each time it accesses digital content containing cookies from the same issuer.
In any event, cookies placed on your browsing device with your consent are deleted 13 months after they are placed on it.
5.2 What are the cookies on our Site used for?
The cookies we issue allow us to:
- compile statistics and measure traffic and the use of the various parts of our Site (sections and content visited, paths), so that we can make our Site and, where applicable, our products and services more relevant and easier to use;
- adapt the presentation of our Site to your device's display preferences (language used, display resolution, operating system, etc.) during your visits to our Site, depending on the viewing or playback hardware and software on your device;
- remember information related to a form you filled in on our Site (registration or access to your account) or to products, services, or information you selected on our Site (service subscribed to, contents of a shopping cart, etc.);
- allow you to access restricted and personal areas of our Site, such as your Account, using credentials or data you may have previously given us, and to apply security measures, for example when you are asked to log in again to content or a service after a certain period of time.
On your first visit to the Site, a cookie banner appears on the homepage. A clickable link lets you learn more about the purpose and operation of cookies and leads to this Charter. Continuing to browse another page of the site or selecting an element of the Site (in particular an image, text, or link) constitutes your acceptance of the cookies concerned being placed on your computer.
5.3 How can you control the cookies used?
In accordance with applicable regulations, you can refuse the use of cookies that are not strictly necessary.
You can also configure your browser software at any time so that cookies are stored on your device or, on the contrary, rejected (either systematically or depending on their issuer). You can also configure your browser software so that you are offered the choice to accept or refuse cookies each time, before a cookie can be stored on your device.
Please note: any setting may change your browsing on the Internet and your conditions of access to certain services that require cookies. We accept no liability for the consequences of the degraded operation of our services resulting from the impossibility of storing or reading the cookies necessary for their operation that you have refused or deleted. This would be the case if you tried to access our content or services that require you to identify yourself. It would also be the case when we (or our providers) could not recognize, for technical compatibility purposes, the type of browser used by your device, its language and display settings, or the country from which your device appears to be connected to the Internet.
For more information on cookies, you can visit the website of the CNIL (the French data protection authority).
6. What are your rights?
You alone have provided us, through the Site, with the data we hold. You have rights over your personal data. In accordance with data protection regulations, in particular Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, and after proving your identity, you have the right to ask us for access to your personal data, and for its rectification or erasure.
In addition, within the limits set by law, you also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, to decide what happens to your data after your death, to withdraw your consent at any time, and the right to the portability of the personal data you have provided.
To exercise your rights, you can contact our Services at the following email address: emilien@datapilot.fr, attaching a copy of an identity document to your request.
You can also unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email.
7. Can we change the Charter?
We reserve the right to change the Charter at any time. We therefore recommend that you check it regularly. In the event of changes, we will publish them on this page and in any other places we consider appropriate, given the subject and importance of the changes.
Your use of the Site after any change means that you accept the change. If you do not accept certain substantial changes to this Charter, you must stop using the Site.
8. Data Protection Officer and contact
If you have any questions about this charter, you can contact the DPO at emilien@datapilot.fr.
For any question about your personal data, or if you would like to delete your Account, please contact us by email at emilien@datapilot.fr.
