No Data Collection

The PopupRangePicker visual does not collect, store, or transmit any user data. This policy applies to the Power BI custom visual itself and describes what data it does — and does not — process.

No External Network Calls

The visual never contacts any server outside of Microsoft’s Power BI platform. It makes no HTTP requests, sends no telemetry, and communicates with no third-party endpoint of any kind.

No Telemetry or Analytics

The visual contains no tracking code, no usage metrics collection, and no third-party analytics scripts. Your interactions with the visual — date selections, clicks, settings changes — are never recorded or reported.

No Local Storage

The visual does not write to cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, or any browser or device storage mechanism. No data is persisted outside of the Power BI report session.

Data Stays in Power BI

All date values loaded into the visual remain entirely within the Power BI environment. Filtering is applied through Microsoft’s standard Advanced Filter API. No data ever leaves the Power BI platform as a result of using this visual.

Microsoft Services Only

The only online connections associated with this visual are those managed by the Power BI platform itself (licensing, data refresh, report sharing, etc.). The PopupRangePicker visual has no role in initiating or managing these connections.
